The Longer you wait to get these children back with their Families the harder it will be. If Children are still in Shelters then Someone needs to enter basic Data about that child into a Database including a picture taken with a Digital Camera. Schools that have admitted Displaced children need to do the same thing. Caregivers who are with children still searching for parents need to be able to go a the Red Cross the post office some place common to all cities and Towns and get these Missing Children into a Centralized Database. Parents who are still looking for children should be able to go the Internet, Call a Phone Number or go to a volunteer location and enter the childrens information to see if there is a match. In this age of the Internet and High technology why can't a centralized database of all missing people from Hurricane Katrina be created to help unite loved one's. It may be to late for victims of Katrina but as people were admitted to shelters like the astrodome why weren't they entered into a Centralized Data Base and Issued an Identity card that could be scanned every time there location changed so it could be used to help family and friends locate them.
